Emad Modirzadeh is the Chairman and Co-founder of Kamada Startup Solutions in Canada. Prior to this role, Emad has been a Chairman, CEO, and Board member of many companies in Iran. Emad has been providing business and financial advisory services to both state-owned and private companies and has been involved in a number of business development, debt financing, corporate restructuring, M&A transactions, and investment banking activities for more than 12 years of his professional experiences.
Emad began his career as a software developer in Iran and then started his corporate career as a Brand Manager at one of the largest distribution companies in Iran (Alborz Distribution Co.), the Head of Finance & advisory department at the first investment bank of Iran (Novin Investment Bank), Finance Manager at an Iranian holding company in the mining industry (Falat Investment Group), CEO of an energy holding company (THETA Energy Holding) and Corporate Finance Consultant at the largest private Iranian oil & gas company (Dana Energy Group).
Emad received an award for CFA charter on October 2012. He graduated with an M.Sc. in Economics and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
